The new Shepherd Orchestral Chanter has been in the making for some time now and made its debut with the House of Edgar Shotts and Dykehead Pipe Band playing on the BBC Hogmannay show 31st December 2006, where Pipe Major Robert Mathieson and his pipers played the Orchestral Chanter alongside Phil Cunningham and Ally Bain.
