Recently, they made a major investment in metal machining equipment that allows them to produce beaded ferrules. The desire to incorporate a new larger ferrule on the practice chanter led to re-tooling the Poly top to match the new larger diameter of the ferrule. The finished product has a bolder look and is a "top of the line" Blackwood practice chanter.
