The Bannatyne Moisture Retention Sleeve water trap is a deflector tube made of absorbent material with a Gore-tex covering. A metal spring extending through the tube offers some structure and helps by condensing moisture from the air passing through. It does not restrict blowing and is very effective at catching moisture before it enters the bag. The unit should be removed after each playing session to allow the material to dry. This water trap is easily installed in the base of the blowstick stock; simply wind the end with some black waxed hemp until it fits securely.
